MeshStream Terms of Service
Effective date: October 11, 2026
These Terms govern your access to MeshStream's developer platform, console, SDKs, APIs, demos, and related media delivery services (the Services). By creating an account, selecting “I agree,” accessing the console, or using an SDK, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
MeshStream is a brand and service provided by an individual operator; it is not currently a registered company, corporation, or separate legal entity. The operator, formal service-notice address, governing law, and dispute forum are identified in the current version of these Terms, the applicable order, or a legal notice.
1. The Services
MeshStream provides a request-layer delivery service that may include cross-platform SDKs, application keys, peer scheduling, segment caching, CDN fallback, session diagnostics, usage reporting, and quota management. MeshStream does not operate your player, origin, CDN account, DRM system, content library, or end-user product.
2. Accounts, regions, and credentials
You must provide accurate registration information, maintain access to the registered email address, and protect passwords, SDK keys, API credentials, and origin credentials. You may not sell, rent, share, or transfer an account or key.
The region selected during registration or provisioning may determine routing, data processing, availability, and billing rules. You are responsible for selecting an appropriate region and ensuring that your use of the Services complies with laws applicable to your business and audience.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Services only for lawful, authorized business purposes. You must not:
- distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, hateful, violent, exploitative, pornographic, obscene, gambling, illicit-drug, terrorist, or otherwise prohibited content;
- use the Services for malware, phishing, fraud, credential theft, scraping, scanning, denial-of-service attacks, traffic laundering, or circumvention of access controls;
- forge playback requests, device identity, usage reports, or delivery data to obtain quota or another benefit;
- expose keys, peer capabilities, or origin credentials to unauthorized parties or operate an open proxy, content-leeching service, or unauthorized downloader;
- reverse engineer, bypass, tamper with, or interfere with the Services or their security controls; or
- exceed applicable plan, region, rate, or technical limits.
You are responsible for the content, domains, applications, end users, permissions, licenses, notices, age controls, moderation, and legal authorizations connected with your use. You must maintain a lawful privacy notice for your end users and provide any disclosures or consents required for P2P connections, network metadata, caching, analytics, and cross-border processing.
4. Your commitments and indemnity
You promise to keep your account information current, pay amounts due, secure credentials, maintain a working player/CDN fallback path, and promptly report compromise or abuse. You promise that you own or are authorized to process and distribute all content and data sent through the Services.
You will defend and indemnify MeshStream and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers against claims, penalties, losses, and reasonable professional fees arising from your content, product, end users, configuration, data processing, infringement, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.
5. MeshStream rights and responsibilities
MeshStream may monitor usage for security, abuse prevention, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and compliance. We may rate-limit, disable keys, remove configurations, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address security, non-payment, abuse, legal requirements, or risk to the Services or others. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you where notice is permitted and practical.
We will provide the Services described in the applicable plan or order, maintain reasonable security controls, publish material operational changes where practical, and investigate valid service or security reports. Unless required by law, an order, or a written agreement, MeshStream does not sell your media content, origin credentials, or business data, and does not use customer content for unrelated advertising profiles.
6. P2P delivery and availability
P2P is an optional acceleration path, not the sole playback dependency. Peer availability can vary because of device capability, network conditions, browser policy, authorization, content format, or service incidents. MeshStream may fall back to your CDN or another configured path. We do not guarantee a particular hit rate, savings percentage, latency, availability level, or business result unless a signed service-level agreement says otherwise.
7. Plans, quotas, and billing
Capacity, daily quota, validity, top-up rules, region, and price are shown on the applicable purchase page or order. Standard plans run on a 30-day cycle. Top-ups are valid for one year from purchase unless the order says otherwise. MeshStream's server-side usage record is the source for quota and billing calculations, subject to correction of confirmed system errors.
Payment, tax, refunds, invoices, and chargebacks are governed by the applicable checkout flow and order. Unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing, purchased quota is not redeemable for cash, transferable, or refundable. We may change future prices, limits, or rules with reasonable notice; completed orders are not changed retroactively.
8. Data, content, and intellectual property
You retain rights in your content and business data. You grant MeshStream the limited rights needed to host, transmit, cache, secure, measure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services. MeshStream retains all rights in its SDKs, software, APIs, console, documentation, trademarks, and service implementation.
Subject to these Terms, MeshStream grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to integrate the SDK and APIs into your own authorized products during the applicable service period. Feedback may be used to improve the Services without payment, while your data rights remain unchanged.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. MeshStream may change, suspend, or discontinue Services for security, legal, capacity, maintenance, or product reasons. We may act without advance notice for urgent security or legal matters. After termination, stop using keys and SDKs. Data may be retained for security, dispute, backup, accounting, or legal obligations and will be deleted or anonymized when those purposes end.
10. Disclaimers and liability limits
The Services are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. MeshStream does not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, permanent, or fit-for-purpose operation, or any particular P2P result. We are not responsible for issues caused by your player, origin, CDN, authorization, domains, content, devices, end users, third-party services, internet providers, attacks, government action, or force majeure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeshStream will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, consequential, profit, goodwill, data, or business interruption losses. Except where prohibited by law, MeshStream's aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for the affected Services during the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Changes and notices
We may update these Terms for product, legal, or security reasons. We will publish the updated version and new effective date; material changes may also be sent to your console or registered email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update. Notices may be delivered through the console, registered email, or the website.

Singapore region addendum
If the Console or an order identifies Singapore as enabled, that region is subject to the processing boundaries and data-handling rules shown in the Console, order, and technical documentation. Selecting Singapore does not guarantee uninterrupted availability in any particular country or territory; an unlisted region is not an availability commitment.
If you use MeshStream to process information about viewers, customers, or other individuals, you represent that you have the required authority, notices, consents, licenses, and safeguards. You must not upload, distribute, or process unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, gambling, sexually explicit, violent-extremist, malicious, or otherwise prohibited content through the SDK, P2P, origin, logs, or Console.
You are responsible for applicable privacy, security, deletion, access, correction, cross-border transfer, and incident-notification obligations, and must reasonably cooperate with MeshStream's compliance requests. If your processing requires a data protection officer, an impact assessment, a transfer mechanism, or regulatory notification, you are responsible for completing it.
MeshStream may use restricted providers or process limited information across borders when necessary for global access, disaster recovery, email, payment, monitoring, security, or support. We will apply reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards required by applicable law. Material changes to regions, providers, or processing locations will be notified through the channels in this Agreement.
This addendum applies only to Singapore services identified as enabled by the Console or an order. If this addendum conflicts with an order or a separately signed data processing agreement, the latter controls.
